GC horizontal multistage pump

A. Product Introduction:
GC boiler feed pump is a horizontal single-suction multi-stage segmented centrifugal pump, mainly used for boiler feed water, so it is also called boiler feed pump. This series of boiler feed pumps is suitable for conveying clean water with a temperature below 110°C or other non-corrosive liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water. It is widely used for boiler feed water in industrial and mining enterprises and urban domestic water supply.

B. Product Features:
GC type water pump is multi-stage segmented type. The inlet and outlet of the four models 1-1/2GC-4GC are respectively on the water inlet section and the water outlet section, all vertically upward. The head can be increased or decreased according to the use needs. Whether the water pump is well assembled or not has a great influence on the performance, especially the relative position of the outlet of each impeller and the inlet of the guide vane. The outlet center of each suction impeller must be aligned with the center of the guide vane. The slightest deviation will reduce the flow rate of the water pump, reduce the head, and reduce the efficiency. Please pay attention to it when assembling after maintenance. If there is any deviation, it must be adjusted.
The main parts of GC type marine water pump are shaft, sleeve, water inlet section, impeller, guide vane, sealing ring, middle section, water outlet section, balance ring, balance plate, tail cover. The
water inlet section, middle section, water outlet section and tail cover are all made of cast iron, which together form the working room of the pump.
The impeller is made of cast iron with blades inside. The liquid enters from one side along the axial direction. Since the pressure on the front and back of the impeller is not equal, there must be an axial force. This axial force is borne by the balance disk. The impeller is subjected to static balance test during manufacturing.
The shaft is made of high-quality carbon steel, with an impeller in the middle, fixed to the shaft with a key, a sleeve and a sleeve nut. One end of the shaft is installed with a coupling component and directly connected to the motor. When viewed from the direction of rotation, the pump shaft rotates in the direction of the needle.
The sealing ring is made of cast iron to prevent the high-pressure water in the water pump from leaking back to the water inlet part. It is fixed in the water inlet section and the middle section respectively. It is a wearing part and can be replaced with spare parts after wear.
The balance ring is made of cast iron and fixed on the water outlet section. It and the balance disk together form a balancing device.
The balance disk is made of wear-resistant cast iron and installed on the shaft. It is located between the water outlet section and the tail cover to balance the axial force.
The sleeve is made of cast iron and is located in the two packing chambers to fix the impeller and protect the pump shaft. It is a wearing part and can be replaced with spare parts after wear.
The bearing is a single-row radial ball bearing, lubricated with calcium-based grease.
The packing seal consists of a packing chamber on the water inlet section and the tail cover, a packing gland, a packing ring and packing. A small amount of high-pressure water flows into the packing chamber to act as a water seal. The packing must be properly tight, not too tight, nor too loose, so that the liquid can seep out drop by drop. If the packing is too tight, the sleeve is easy to heat up and consume power. If the packing is too loose, the efficiency of the pump will be reduced due to liquid loss.

GC series pumps are particularly suitable for boiler water supply, and can also be widely used in pressure vessel water supply, hot water circulation, high-rise building water supply, farmland irrigation, fire boosting, hydraulic flushing, food, brewing, medicine, chemical industry, aquaculture, environmental protection, chemical process and machine tool supporting industries as power equipment for water supply and drainage.
