Product Introduction Overview :
The 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency AC test device is a device specially used to test the insulation withstand voltage of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) power cables, PE (polyethylene) power cables, EPR (ethylene propylene rubber) power cables, CSM (chlorosulfonated polyethylene) power cables, PE-XB (silane cross-linked) power cables and other cables. It has been awarded the National Torch Program Project, with the project number 2003EB041178. It is superior to the previous DC and power frequency AC testing methods. The main reason is that the above-mentioned plastic power cables will be partially damaged under DC testing, and it is difficult to detect certain defects in the accessories under DC withstand voltage test; the space charge in the medium during DC withstand voltage test will also cause cable damage; during DC withstand voltage, the cable and accessories will be broken down or the terminal head will be flashed externally, which will also damage the cable insulation. This shows that it is not suitable to perform DC withstand voltage test on plastic cables. Using it to perform AC withstand voltage test on plastic cables instead of the original DC withstand voltage test can not only reduce the damage to the cable insulation caused by the DC withstand voltage test and extend the service life of the cable, but also can find insulation defects that cannot be found by the DC withstand voltage test, thereby improving the credibility of the withstand voltage test in judging the insulation status, reducing the occurrence of insulation accidents caused by misjudgment, and improving the operational reliability of the power transportation system.
After market investigation and summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of similar products at home and abroad, combined with our company's many years of experience in designing and producing AC and DC high-voltage generators, we have solved the problem of large size and high cost in principle. Based on our company's many years of production of test devices, we have developed a 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency cosine square wave test device with better cost performance, because the initial voltage of partial discharge generated by the 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency cosine square wave is lower (20% lower than the 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency sine wave) when conducting a withstand voltage test on polyethylene/cross-linked polyethylene cables, and the effective value of the 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency cosine square wave withstand voltage test device is 30% higher than that of the sine wave, and it can test longer cables (larger capacitance). Based on new principles and using new devices, this device has successfully developed the lightest and smallest ultra-low frequency generator.
The 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency AC test device adopts the latest single-chip microcomputer technology and a large-screen LCD display. Its characteristics are high-voltage output power, small size, and reliable performance. The LCD can simultaneously display the output voltage, output current change value, effective value, and maximum value, and real-time display of the output voltage waveform for easy observation and reading. The high-frequency step-up transformer and high-voltage rectifier adopt an oil-immersed structure, which greatly reduces the size and is easy to carry, especially suitable for field use.
In order to meet the different needs of high-voltage cable testing, this device is equipped with an output frequency adjustment device. According to the pre-set output frequency for different cables and customer needs, it can output high-voltage signals with frequencies of 0.1Hz, 0.05Hz and 0.02Hz.
